Class Description
“The Art of Emotional Expression”: Make a Guatemalan Worry Doll Twist, cut, thread, glue, and strengthen your fine motor skills to make a Guatemalan “worry doll” while learning about Mayan cultural strategies for managing emotions. In addition to your doll, bring home new Spanish vocabulary words to share with your family, friends, and community. This 90-minute workshop satisfies the “Understand Emotions” and “Practice Gratitude and Giving” requirements for the “Resilient, Ready, Strong” badge for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors. Participants will also receive a VIDA fun patch. This custom listing covers 13 girl scouts from Brownie Troop 2553 only. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy Payment is due prior to the event. Payment can be made by credit card on our website at www.vida-immersion.com or via Zelle to info@vida-immersion.com. Payments are non-refundable. Participants who cancel more than 24 hours before the event will receive a credit toward a future event or program. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event or after the event has begun are not eligible for a credit. VIDA does not offer make-up classes at this time. This event requires a minimum of ten (10) participants to run. If enrollment is insufficient, the event will be cancelled. If VIDA cancels a class or event, we will refund your payment within 10 business days.
